Meet Felipa
With over 20 years of experience, in public and private Montessori schools, guiding beautifully diverse groups of students, I recognize the need for well-made, culturally-relevant Montessori materials and lessons that reflect our children's identities and enable them to learn about and appreciate others.
Montessori & Social Justice
Over a decade ago, I created the first version of these materials so the children in my class could see themselves in their work. With an MPS in Humanistic and Multicultural Education and a long history as an early childhood Montessori and social justice educator, I designed these lessons to reflect children's interests and identities, while utilizing researched, developmentally appropriate, social justice education frameworks.
Having an Early Childhood (Children's House) Credential through the International Montessori Council, via the Center for Guided Montessori Studies, and over a decade of additional experience teaching Elementary One, I created materials for both age groups.

Supporting Your Journey
Recently stepping out of the classroom to work on a Doctor of Education and witnessing the critical need for peace and justice in our world, I returned to these materials. Revising and expanding my original work, I am so excited to share these lessons with all of you and provide you with the support that you need to be the change in the world that we desperately need.
